Christelle SALMON-LATASTE is in charge of the Structured Finance Practice of the Firm. She works on transactional debt aspects.
She has developed a strong expertise in corporate finance and project finance acting on borrower side or lenders side (banks, debt funds) or investment fund/sponsor side in relation to transactions in France or cross border (including Europe, US, UK or Africa).
She assists in various types of financings including vanilla syndicated credit facilities with ESG criteria (if applicable), acquisition financing, project financing (in infrastructure or renewable energy), real estate financing, export credit etc. in the form of credit facilities or bonds issuances (such as EuroPP or complex bonds) or on the French law aspects of high yield bonds issuances.
She also assists in the financing aspects of M&A transactions in the context of change of control/ownership, corporate reorganisations, joint-ventures, on the due diligence aspects and over the life of the facilities (waivers, short-term challenges, structural challenges of the borrowing entities) as well as in the financing aspects of restructurings.
She also assists in crowdfunding bond financings in the context of renewable energy transactions. She also assists banks or funds in relation to regulatory matters.
In Simon Associés, Christelle closely works with the corporate, restructuring, public law and project, ream estate and compliance/regulatory teams.
Before joining Simon Associés, Christelle has worked seven years and eight months within the international banking and finance team of Herbert Smith Freehills Paris LLP law firm as an Of Counsel and before that, senior associate. She started her carrier in financing in the Banking and Finance team of Bird &Bird law firm in Paris.
